I am sad to say that I haven’t done as well with my blog as I had hoped. I thought that it would be easy for me to write every evening after dinner but to be honest with you all, it hasn’t been easy at all. I started a notebook when I first created my blog to write down ideas, different workouts and what I eat, but for some reason I didn’t keep up with Getting Fit n Fabulous 😦
So here I am, sitting on my couch while dinner is cooking professing my newfound dedication to the blogging community to keep up with my blog! I have decided to set aside at least 30 minutes at least
4make that 5 times a week. My blog is supposed to be me sharing my journey of weight loss, eating healthy and hitting the gym with all of you but to also be a tool to help me stay on track and keep focus. Really, it keeps me accountable!
With all of that said, I am really exciting to committed to my blog! Maybe one day I can inspire someone the way so many of your blogs have inspired me!
Time for dinner and to catch up on a few DVR shows 🙂
Like most people I am not a huge fan of the scale but I decided to break down and get my butt on the scale and to my surprise I have lost a pound in a week…WOOT WOOT!!! It is the little things in life that really count. Sam and I have been working out together since the beginning on January and while I am down 8lbs he has lost 22lb! WOW! I always knew that men lost weight quicker (and easier) than women but it doesn’t make it any less frustrating.
Yesterday I had the most amazing salad. It had fresh pineapples, oranges, cucumbers, red peppers among all the other “normal” salad fixings. It was an explosion of flavor in my mouth….yum!!!
Then I made this awesome egg scramble for dinner, it consisted of 3 eggs, red onion, asparagus and brocoli with a hint of 1/3 less fat cream cheese. It was awesome and super filling!
Loosing 8lbs so far is awesome but I am also feeling so much better about the way my body looks and how I feel in clothes. It is truly amazing what exercise and healthy food can do for your body. I’ve also noticed that my skin looks healthier, I think that has something to do with all the water I’ve been drinking!
I am working out with my trainer tomorrow so I will definitely be sure to write down my exercises so I can share them with you.
Time to do the dishes and get ready for bed! I’m so glad tomorrow is Hump Day!!

I wasn’t sure if I was going to write anything or not tonight but I decided to write a quick post. My sinuses have been bothering me a lot for the past couple of days and I am just not feeling like myself. If I don’t feel better within the next couple of days I guess I will have to make a trip to the good ole docs office. I don’t mind going to see my doctor but like most people it is not something I enjoy! A co-worker told me that I should try nose spray to help clear me up, it’s worth a shot!
As most of you of you know I am trying to get healthy and lose some lb’s which is not an easy task! Lately there have been a ton of sweets at my office and it is hard to resist, especially when everyone else is enjoying a sweet treat. Today I decided that I was going to give up sweets for Lent. I think by doing so it will help me greatly in my weight loss journey.
I started using My Net Diary two years ago and it is an amazing tool for weight loss! It is an online food journal and an exercise log. If used daily (and correctly) it can help you be extremely successful! One of the best things about My Net Diary is that most food is already logged into the system…how simple can you get!? One last thing about how awesome this website is, it not only keeps track of your daily calories but it also keeps track of the fat, carbs and protein you consume! If you have a few minutes in your day I highly recommend checking it out!
